The 12th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform will take place on 1 December 2022. During the meeting, a debate will be held on the enhancement of Ukraine's integration into the EU, as well as the needs and challenges for Ukraine today and in the post-war reconstruction, with special focus on energy, social aspects and critical infrastructure. A joint declaration, prepared by both sides, will be discussed and adopted.
Après le succès des précédentes tables rondes avec la jeunesse sur le climat et la durabilité, le CESE, en coopération avec le European Youth Forum et Generation Climate Europe,, accueillera la troisième table ronde avec la jeunesse de l'UE le mercredi 30 novembre, entre 14h30 et 16h00 CET.
Representatives of the European and Georgian Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs), set up under the Trade and Sustainable Development Chapter of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia, will hold their seventh joint meeting on 29 November 2022 in Brussels.
The objective of the meeting will be to prepare a set of recommendations for the EU-Georgia Trade and Sustainable Development Sub-Committee and the Civil Society Forum, which will take place in December 2022.
The EU-Serbia Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) will hold its 14th meeting on 29 November 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. It is a platform established within the institutional framework of the EU‑Serbia Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), enabling representatives of both the EU and the Serbian civil society to monitor the country's accession negotiations, discuss issues of common interest and point out concerns to be tackled on the Serbian path towards the European Union.
Le groupe des travailleurs organise une conférence à Paris, au Conseil économique, social et environnemental, qui aura comme thèmes de discussion les discriminations persistantes en Europe et comment faire face à ce problème et les défis et opportunités de la démocratie participative pour le CESE.
Le 28 novembre 2022, le Comité économique et social européen (CESE), en collaboration avec ECOLISE, organisera un événement dans le cadre de la semaine annuelle des communautés pour l'avenir, une série d'événements d'une semaine aux niveaux européen, national et régional qui exploreront comment mieux soutenir les initiatives menées par les acteurs locaux sur le changement climatique et la durabilité en Europe.
Afin de préparer son rapport sur "Violation des sanctions/crimes de l'UE", le CESE organise une audition publique hybride le 25 novembre 2022, de 10h00 à 12h30.
L'événement a pour objectif de recueillir les contributions des décideurs politiques, des organisations de la société civile, des universitaires et des partenaires sociaux qui alimenteront l'avis du CESE.
