14:40-15:10 Part one

The first part of the workshop will be collaborative, aiming to generate ideas for it: together with the audience, we will select two or three areas of interest that are relevant to CSOs and discuss how these topics have been implemented in various countries. We will conclude with an assessment of the current limitations of the EU institutions when it comes to addressing the challenges.

15:10-15:45 Part two

Panel debate: take stock of what was discussed in the first part, and show how new institutions (established when the Treaties are changed) will bring solutions to the issues highlighted.

Note conceptuelle

Cet atelier comprendra deux parties, à savoir un atelier et une table ronde sur les institutions de l’UE, la participation des acteurs locaux et des jeunes, et les élections européennes.

Objectif. Renforcer la capacité des OSC à conférer une dimension européenne aux discussions nationales et à donner ainsi une place significative au rôle des institutions européennes dans le débat public. De cette manière, nous nous efforçons de créer un écosystème varié qui permettra aux individus d’intégrer pleinement le débat sur les questions européennes dans la vie politique de leurs pays respectifs.

Interaction en ligne

Des interactions en ligne seront possibles et permettront aux participants d’envisager d’éventuelles solutions institutionnelles aux problèmes recensés dans la première partie et les moyens de les mettre en œuvre.

La liste des solutions et actions institutionnelles sera intégrée dans le rapport de l’atelier et alimentera le travail des associations qui coorganisent l’atelier.
