Le Groupe des travailleurs du Comité économique et social européen invite l'Union européenne à activer sans délai tous les instruments dont elle s'est dotée avec le processus de Barcelone et la création de l'Union pour la Méditerranée, afin d'apporter un soutien urgent à la création d'emplois, aux actions en faveur des jeunes, à la relance de l'économie de cette région de la Méditerranée et à la mise en place de véritables politiques sociales.

profondément préoccupé par la teneur de la récente loi hongroise tendant à abolir la
liberté de la presse et la liberté d'expression ou, au mieux, à les soumettre à un
contrôle strict du gouvernement.

du peuple tunisien, qui a provoqué la chute du régime totalitaire et corrompu qui,
depuis plus de vingt ans, bafouait les droits de l'homme en Tunisie. Il demeure cependant préoccupé par la situation actuelle.
