Le groupe permanent sur l'inclusion des Roms organise une audition publique le 22 juin 2023 intitulée «La situation du marché du travail et les droits des travailleurs roms en période de crise économique». En cette période d'inflation galopante dans toute l'Europe, avec de fortes augmentations des produits alimentaires et de l'énergie, cette audition se penchera sur la situation des travailleurs roms sur le marché du travail. Il discutera de la discrimination dans le domaine de l'emploi et examinera les meilleures pratiques visant à résoudre ces situations conformément à la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l'UE, au nouveau cadre stratégique de l'UE sur les Roms et au Socle européen des droits sociaux.

The 7th meeting of the EU DAG set up under the EU-UK TCA was dedicated to updates, exchange of views on the annual TCA Implementation Report, members’ presentations and structured dialogue with the Commission, followed by a discussion with members.
The Head of Unit responsible for the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement at Secretariat General at the European Commission gave updates on the TCA, including on its governance framework & implementation.
Also, DG TRADE officials, who highlighted that the full and proper implementation of the TCA and a continued and constructive cooperation with the UK are top priorities for the Commission, provided an update of the upcoming timing of the various Trade Specialised Committee meetings as well as the latest developments on the Retained EU Law Bill.

L’édition 2023 de la Journée annuelle de l’initiative citoyenne européenne (ICE) du CESE a eu lieu le 8 juin dernier. Les participants présents à Bruxelles et en ligne ont eu la possibilité de nouer un dialogue avec des représentants institutionnels de haut niveau, des organisations de la société civile ainsi que des organisateurs et promoteurs de l’ICE ; ils ont pu débattre de la manière de renforcer les compétences des citoyens pour que les ICE soient concluantes et suivies d'effet.
The 11th meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform (CSP) will be convened on 8 June 2023 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
During the meeting, a debate will focus on assessing the implementation of the priorities outlined by the European Commission and the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement/DCFTA. The Platform will also discuss the implementation of the Chapter 14 on Employment, social policy and equal opportunities, as well as media freedom and depolarisation, and the mobility of Georgian workers.
A joint declaration, prepared by both sides, will be discussed and adopted.
