Transposition of measures of regional fisheries management organisations - RFMOs II

Since the Committee has already set out its views on the content of the proposal in question in its opinions:

• Fisheries - NAFO, adopted on 15/06/2023, 

• Conservation and enforcement measures - NAFO, adopted on 24/03/2022, 

• Management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Convention of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), adopted on 15/06/2022, 

• Establishing a batch documentation programme for bluefin tuna, adopted on 27/01/2021, 

• Fisheries – transposing IATTC measures, adopted on 02/12/2020, 

• Conservation and enforcement measures - NAFO, adopted on 18/09/2020, 

• Multiannual management plan for bluefin tuna, adopted on 07/05/2020, 

•  Conservation and control measures applicable in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation, adopted on 23/01/2019, 

• Conservation of Atlantic tunas, adopted on 19/10/2016, 

• Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the sustainable management of external fishing fleets, repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 1006/200811, adopted on 25/05/2016, 

it decided not to draw up a new opinion on the subject, but to refer to the position it had taken in the above-mentioned documents.
