Conference "Towards a more effective Europe 2020: civil society's proposals for boosting social inclusion and competitiveness in Europe", Rome 4 - 5 December 2014

The Europe 2020 Steering Committee organised on 4-5 December 2014 in Rome a high-level conference "Towards a more effective EUROPE 2020: Civil Society's proposals for boosting social inclusion and competitiveness in Europe".

 

This conference provided an excellent opportunity for constructive, high-level debate on how the Europe 2020 Strategy for smart, sustainable, inclusive and job-intensive growth can be strengthened in ways that will boost the economy, employment and the general wellbeing of the European public.

 

One of the highlights of the conference was the presentation of the report "Civil Society contribution to the mid-term review of the Europe 2020 Strategy" that includes set of detailed recommendations and propositions for re-launching European growth and jobs strategy.
