EESC contributions

At COP30, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will share and discuss the key messages emerging from its recent work, namely:

• EESC contribution | Climate adaptation for resilient societies
• EESC opinion | Phasing out fossil fuel subsidies while ensuring European competitiveness, mitigating the cost-of-living crisis, and promoting a just transition
• EESC opinion | European Climate Law amendment
• Joint declaration of the EESC and the Brazilian Economic and Social Development Council (29-30 July 2025)
