31st EU DAG meeting under the EU-Republic of Korea Free Trade Agreement

The 31st meeting of the EU Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) under the EU-Republic of Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA), and the first meeting of the 2025–2028 term, took place on 16 December 2025 at the EESC.

To foster TSD synergies and strengthen cooperation, this meeting was organised together with the EU DAGs for Japan and Singapore. The idea was to bring the groups closer together, exchange best practices, and learn from each other's experiences. The members also exchanged with the European Commission's DG TRADE and the EU Delegations in Seoul, Tokyo and Singapore on the regional outlook and expectations regarding future cooperation with the DAGs.

During the meeting, the EU DAG elected its presidency for the 2025–2028 term, discussed the priorities for the work of the DAG and looked at the implementation of the Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) Chapter of the FTA.
