The purpose of this call for tenders is to identify an environmental verifier who will carry out, for the CdR and the CESE, the verification activities of the environmental management system (EMS) and the validation of the environmental statement with a view to maintaining and renewing the EMAS registration and ISO 14001 certification, see the EMAS Project Support Charter dated 12/01/2009.
Description
The purpose of this call for tenders is to identify an environmental verifier who will carry out, for the Committee of the Regions (CdR) and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the verification activities of the environmental management system (EMS) and the validation of the environmental statement with a view to maintaining and renewing the EMAS registration and ISO 14001 certification, as per the EMAS project support charter dated 01/12/2009. This external verification is conducted according to the EMAS three-year cycle. Year N is the year in which the external verification audit is held for the renewal of the EMAS registration and ISO 14001 certification. In years N+1 and N+2 of the EMAS cycle, surveillance audits are carried out to maintain the EMAS registration and ISO 14001 certification.
The duration of this contract is 4 years and will therefore cover the year 2026 (renewal verification, year N). It will also cover the surveillance verifications (year N+1 in 2027 and N+2 in 2028), as well as a further renewal verification (year N+3 in 2029).
