Assessment of the 2015 EESC “Europe in harmony” video challenge

Having carried out three video challenge editions, the EESC seeks to take stock and develop its strategy for any future editions to be launched.

More specifically, the contractor shall identify strengths and weaknesses of the 2015 “Europe in harmony” video challenge and assess its effectiveness and impact, and make relevant recommendations.

"Europe in Harmony", the third edition of the EESC’s video challenge, was a combined music and video competition organised in partnership with the Latvian EU Presidency. It was open to choirs, singing groups and amateur video-makers from the 28 EU member states. Participants were asked to sing an interpretation of "Ode to Joy" using the original lyrics or their own based on a European theme and produce a creative video integrating their performance.
