Periodic regulatory inspection services for lifting and fall‑protection equipment

Subject of the contract:
The purpose of this contract is to carry out the statutory periodic inspections, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements, covering: 1. Lifting equipment, including in particular lifts, lifting platforms and building maintenance units (BMUs) used for façade access; 2. Fall protection systems installed on façades and roofs, such as lifelines, anchor points, safety harnesses, portable ladders and any other equipment designed to prevent falls from height. These services shall be performed by an accredited External Service for Technical Controls (SECT) in the current and future buildings jointly occupied in Brussels by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). The services covered by this contract include: - Periodic inspections of lifts; - Risk assessments; - Periodic inspections of lifting tables; - Periodic inspections of building maintenance units (BMUs); - Periodic inspections of fall protection systems installed on façades and roofs; - Ad hoc or specific services provided on a time-and-materials basis, subject to a capped budget.
