Solidarity with Greenland: We must stand united to protect democracy on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Trump administration has once again floated the idea of exerting control over Greenland, while the people of Greenland have reiterated their commitment to deciding their own future, free from outside pressure or intimidation.

Workers’ Group President Lucie Studničná states that: ‘The Workers’ Group stands firmly, together with the Nordic Trade Unions, beside the Greenlandic people, their right to self-determination, as well as a rules-based world order of international law and peaceful resolution of conflicts under the UN Charter. The future of Greenland is for Greenlanders to decide, and we must ensure this remains so, for in this lies the future of our democracies too. United we stand, divided we fall, is not just a slogan, it is our existential lifeline’.
