The knowledge and thus also the turnout of European elections in Canada and the US are particularly low. Three online information sessions - resp. on 6 April, 27 April and 4 May - aim to change this. The events target EU citizens, and in particular Latvians who live in Canada and the US and

  • encourage them to participate in the elections,
  • show that national and EU issues are closely interlinked,
  • indicate the main priorities of the political groups,
  • talk about technicalities such as mail voting application etc.
  • answer to key questions of EU citizens living abroad.
