FACING POPULISM - RESEARCH & DEBATES

February 2019 - Group III has recently presented a study on populism, to help us better understand the rise of the phenomenon and to highlight the key role that civil society can play in countering it: "Societies outside Metropolises: the role of civil society organisations in facing populism" Read the study

March 2019 - The Farmers' Category with spokesperson & Group III Member John Bryan organised a debate on the implications of Brexit for Europe agriculture and future developments in EU trade policy.

TAKING THE ROAD TO SIBIU

May 2019 – 2 days before the Sibiu Summit, Group III discussed three fundamental dimensions to the topic ‘A Europe of Shared Values and Civil Society’ : guaranteeing European Values and Fundamental Rights, the changing role of European civil society, the future of the EU.
