2024-06-17 & 18 - The Roma - Mission report from country visit to Bulgaria

A delegation from the Permanent group on the inclusion of the Roma carried out a fact-finding mission to Bulgaria on 17 & 18 June 2024. The new Roma strategy was generally considered more positive than the previous one. Yet, funding for Roma still represented problems. Action was needed to tackle the situation of people without identity cards, which was affecting many Roma, and to tackle segregation at the school level.
