Conference with social partners and civil society organisations from North Macedonia

The conference, taking place on 12 March 2026 at Europe House Skopje, will bring together representatives of civil society organisations, social partners, EU institutions, and national authorities to discuss key priorities related to North Macedonia’s EU accession process.

The event will open with welcome addresses from senior representatives, followed by thematic sessions exploring:

• the role of organised civil society in EU accession negotiations and in implementing the Reform Agenda,
• the state of social dialogue and current developments within the business community,
• the protection of civic space, media freedom, and efforts to fight disinformation.

Each panel will feature expert insights and interactive exchanges with participants. The conference will conclude with closing remarks from the President of the EESC’s Western Balkans Follow‑up Committee.
