Capital markets integration and efficient supervision

The European Commission has published a package to eliminate barriers to integration of asset management, trading and post-trading services, and improve supervision, in order to further integrate capital markets. The EESC has insisted in multiple occasions in the urgency of completing a single market for capital, a more prominent role of ESMA and reforms in the supervisory framework.

This debate will bring representatives from public actors and civil society to discuss on their views on the Commission proposal and how to make it fit for purpose.

The event will be webstreamed (original, EN, ES, BG). No registration is needed and participation is free of charge.
