With the Russian aggression on Ukraine continuing relentlessly and geopolitical tensions at their highest in Europe’s recent history, Poland is focusing its priorities on the overarching theme of security. This includes external, internal, economic, energy, food and health security as well as ensuring the rule of law.
These priorities resonate with the European Economic and Social Committee’s commitment to fostering cohesion, safeguarding democratic values, and ensuring stable prosperity. ‘At the EESC, we are proud to stand as a reliable and engaged partner for the Polish presidency and are committed to playing an active role in shaping the political priorities that will define this new European cycle’, says EESC president Oliver Röpke.
