This interactive workshop fosters peer-to-peer exchange by connecting successful and previous ECI organisers with current and future organisers. The Meet & Greet will cover campaign areas such as fundraising, community building and communication.
This interactive workshop focuses on the essential role of impact strategies in enhancing the effectiveness of democratic innovations such as ECIs and randomly selected Citizens’ Panels. Over the past 12 years, only two successful ECIs have been partially implemented in relation to their secondary objectives.
European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) Day 2025 will take place as part of the EESC’s second edition of Civil Society Week, held on 17-20 March, with a focus on the theme of Strengthening Cohesion and Participation in Polarised Societies.
