The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is the voice of organised civil society in Europe.

The EESC issues between 160 and 190 opinions, evaluation and information reports a year.
It also organises several annual initiatives and events with a focus on civil society and citizens’ participation such as the Civil Society Prize, the Civil Society Days, the Your Europe, Your Say youth plenary and the ECI Day.

The EESC brings together representatives from all areas of organised civil society, who give their independent advice on EU policies and legislation. The EESC's326 Members are organised into three groups: Employers, Workers and Various Interests.

Podemos ser testigos de la trágica historia de Ucrania gracias a la incansable y heroica labor de periodistas, fotógrafos y operadores de cámara que llegan allá donde nosotros no podemos. Uno de ellos, el fotógrafo polaco Sławek Kaminski, nos envió sus fotos de la frontera entre Bielorrusia y Polonia, de Rzeszów y de Medyka-Shehyni.
Hoy publicamos un primer grupo de imágenes, correspondiente a la frontera entre Polonia y Ucrania. Gracias por inmortalizar estos momentos en foto.
Sławek Kamiński: fotoperiodista para Gazeta Wyborcza. Ganador de diversos galardones y distinciones en prestigiosos concursos de fotografía de prensa. Ganador del «Gran Premio: Foto del Año» en el concurso «Grand Press Photo 2019». Su archivo documenta de forma exhaustiva los cambios políticos de los últimos treinta años en Polonia. Su trabajo se ha publicado en la mayoría de publicaciones de prensa polacas y en muchas extranjeras,así como en libros. También ha participado en importantes proyectos publicitarios.
