Join us on 3 July 2024 for a morning discussion forum in the Consumers and Environment category, with the aim of anticipating and influencing the upcoming decisions that will follow the renewal in the European Parliament and the European Commission. This is an in-person conference that will be live streamed on our website. Registration closed on 1 July 2024.
The written conclusions and recommendations of the conference will feed into an EESC resolution with policy recommendations to the new European Parliament and European Commission, to be adopted in July.
Far-right parties are gaining significant traction in Europe, potentially becoming the third or fourth largest group in the European Parliament after the upcoming European elections. This shift presents a critical threat to the rights and freedoms of millions of workers across the continent based upon their voting behaviour on social policy.
