Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and Information Society (TEN)
The Section for Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and the Information Society (TEN) covers the full range of issues relating to the various transport modes, the different forms of energy production, major infrastructure networks, the information society and services of general interest.
With a view to the preparation of its opinions, the section establishes close contacts with the various EU institutions and all the representative civil society organisations concerned. These contacts are established through meetings of the section and its study groups. Read more...
In particular, the Section in coordination with civil society organisations actively promotes a Europenanisation of energy policy through the European energy community
