Annual meeting of the Presidents and Secretaries-General of the national ESCs of the EU and the EESC - 19-20/11/2015 – Bucharest

The annual meeting of the Presidents and Secretaries-General of the national ESCs of the EU and the EESC will be held in Bucharest on 19-20 November 2015. At this occasion participants will discuss "The role and implication of European ESCs in combatting poverty and social exclusion in times of economic and political crisis". In addition to debates on this topic the meeting will also represent an excellent opportunity to exchange good practices and societal values in order to address and to fight the economic and political crisis together with its humanitarian consequences. Moreover the meeting in Bucharest will further strengthen the close cooperation between the ESCs and complement regular meetings organised by the EESC Europe 2020 Steering Committee.
