60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome: messages of Civil Society

The EESC is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, signed on 25 March 1957, which established the European Economic Community and the foundations of the EU.

Looking forward to ensuring a future of Europe that is more united, promotes solidarity, guarantees economic and social cohesion, peace, and human dignity; these are among the EESC's messages.
