12th EU-Croatia Joint Consultative Committee meetingMeeting -
EESC, Brussels, Belgium The EU-Croatia Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) held its 12th meeting in Brussels on 11 December 2012. Under the two working sessions the JCC members discussed EU regional policy, in particular from the perspective of how to build the bridge from pre-accession assistance into management of the structural funds. Croatia as an acceding country has an active observer status in the European institutions. Therefore, the JCC also looked closely at the role of the EESC in the institutional decision-making framework as well as heard from the Committee's Members about their experiences in the context of the previous enlargements.

Vienna, Austria The 11th meeting of the JCC has been held at the House of the European Union in Vienna on Tuesday 5 June 2012. The main topics of the meeting were "Croatia accession to the EU: political, economic and social developments until accession" and the "EU Regional Policy".
