The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership is the biggest and most ambitious free trade agreement currently being negotiated by the European Union. Economists believe that an agreement with the USA will be advantageous for both the European Union and the USA, and the negative effects of trade liberalisation will be insignificant. This publication is a summary of the debate on "What development opportunities does the TTIP bring to Europe?" that was held in Sopot on 2 October 2014 as part of the European Forum for New Ideas.

Spremljevalni odbor EU-Rusija je notranji organ EESO, pristojen za odnose z rusko civilno družbo.
Odkar so oblasti Ruske federacije 24. februarja 2022 začele vojno proti Ukrajini, so svobodno civilno družbo v Rusiji utišali posebni zakoni in vse večja represija, številni kritiki režima pa so bili prisiljeni oditi v izgnanstvo.
V sedanjih težkih razmerah se je EESO odločil, da bo pustil odprta vrata za dialog s protivojnim delom ruske civilne družbe, ki je prisoten na ozemlju EU.
Poteka plodna izmenjava informacij in stališč o tem, kako nadaljevati dvostranske odnose po koncu vojne in vrnitvi svobode in demokracije v to državo.
