The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the Committee of the Regions (CoR) plan to publish a low-value call for tenders to buy a security gate with quick release system, aiming at increasing the security and better controlling the access to the VIP court of J. Delors building in rue Belliard 99.

The value of this tender, including the goods delivery, installation, the commissioning, equipment testing and the work force shall amount between 15.000 and 25.000 EUR. Offers above this amount will not be taken into account.

Indicative timetable

  • Launch of the procedure to interested potential tenderers: Friday 23 August 2013 at the earliest
  • Deadline for offers: 6 September 2013
  • Contract award: September 2013
  • Execution and end of the work: December 2013

Participation in tendering procedures is open on equal terms to all natural and legal persons coming within the scope of the Treaties and to all natural and legal persons in a third country which has a special agreement with the Communities in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.
