A European Labour Authority to fight more efficiently social and wage dumping

Presentation of a study on the European Labour Authority - 2 April - 16.30

Labour mobility is an essential component of European integration and can help achieve social cohesion and economic growth at their highest levels, if it protects the rights of workers, ensures good working conditions and avoids social dumping.

The establishment of a European Labour Authority, proposed within the framework of the European Pillar of Social Rights, has the possibility of being a key body for this aim. With this in mind, the Workers' Group will present this study where concise, evidence-based recommendations are given in order to ensure that the ELA fulfils its purpose.
