To właśnie z Polski pochodzi znaczna część pracowników zatrudnionych w tym sektorze w zachodnich państwach członkowskich UE, ale w ostatnich latach kraj ten, sam zaczął borykać się z poważnym brakiem wykwalifikowanych opiekunów.
