Based on the conclusion of the workshop held by the ESEC of Morocco and the ESC of Spain, this session will discuss the current situation of women rights in the region as well as an outlook on the future.

Based on the report prepared by the Spanish ESC the discussion will focus on the necessity for social protection to be a priority in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. The variety of social protection "networks" and systems in the region, as well as the lack of adequate and sufficiently up-to-date sources of information, may have contributed to the under-representation of social protection in the Partnership's work

This session is foreseen to see how to collectively improve the Summit in the future, how to develop stronger common work and foster more collaboration and exchange of good practices between ESCs of the region.
