The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is this year exceptionally rewarding two sets of winners. Its Civil Society Prize will go both to projects trying to create a better future for young people, and to schemes lending support to Ukrainians affected by Russia's brutal invasion of their country
On 19 July, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) held a high-level conference on relief and reconstruction of Ukraine, at which it pledged its full support for the war-ravaged country on all fronts.
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), just a week ahead of the EU Council Summit, adopted its second Resolution on Ukraine, strongly supporting the country's unconditional candidate status to the EU. The European civil society will be working hand in hand with Ukraine for Ukraine on the reconstruction of the country delivering a stronger, greener, more resilient and sustainable European partner.
Šiais metais EESRK pilietinės visuomenės premija bus teikiama už geresnės ateities jaunimui kūrimą ir pagalbą nukentėjusiesiems nuo karo Ukrainoje
To turn solidarity with Ukraine into concrete action, the EESC is joining the European Parliament's "civil society hub" initiative for Ukraine, allowing the NGO Promote Ukraine to use part of its premises at rue de Trèves 74, along with logistical equipment.
