Name of Private Regulator:Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe (IAB Europe)
Objective(s):Raising industry standards; Increasing clients' trust in the quality of the products/services; Enhancing the level of information. The standards and best practice guidelines were/are developed by the IAB network of trade bodies to make interactive advertising easier to use. They aim to make it easier for member companies to trade, enhance the experience for the user and help the market grow. IAB package of evolving Standards and Best practices concern Mobile brand builders (advertising formats); Online audience measurement and ad effectiveness metrics and KPIs; Internet ‘cookies’; Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA); Display standards; Social media measurement; Display, Mobile, Tablets, Video in-stream ads and Rising Stars standards; Self-regulation of OBA; Internet Marketing campaign.
