The 10-11 September plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will hold a debate on the strategic challenges facing the Mediterranean region with Helena DALLI, Maltese Ministry for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties.
The EESC also welcomes two representatives of the Italian government, State Secretary Teresa BELLANOVA, and State Secretary Domenico MANZIONE, to discuss the highly controversial topics of immigration and undeclared work in the EU. EESC opinions will be voted on both issues.
