Felipe Medina Martín is the Technical Secretary General at ASEDAS - Spanish FMCG Retailers and Wholesalers Association and Member of European Economic and Social Committee since 2015. Agricultural Engineer and PhD in Agri-Food Economics. Specialised in public affairs and food policies. More than 16 years of experience in associations of the agri-food. Representative of Eurocommerce (European trade association) in the European dairy market observatory and in various civil dialogue groups of the European Commission since 2013, representative of ASEDAS in the single market, lobby network and food chain groups of Eurocommerce, member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Agri-Food Economy - AEEA, member of the Advisory Committee of the Chair of Agricultural and Food Innovation of the University of Cordoba and member of the Advisory Committee of the Smart Agri Food Summit. Cillian LOHAN,
Vice-President of the EESC in charge of communication

Cillian Lohan has been Vice-President for Communication of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) since October 2020, and an active member of the institution since 2015.
He has worked extensively in the corporate and environmental sectors.
He is a leader in the Circular Economy field and was the inaugural chair of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, which he helped to establish. Cillian has extensive experience as a delegate to the United Nations, working on initiatives such as the COP climate negotiations and the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
As CEO of the Green Economy Foundation, he has overseen ambitious projects including the planting of over one million trees in Ireland and the establishment of a wildlife reserve in Tobago.
Cillian graduated from University College Cork and the University of Ulster with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Science.

Isabel CAÑO AGUILAR

Isabel Caño Aguilar has been a member of the EESC since 2010. Currently a member of the NAT and TEN sections, she has been the EESC vice-president in charge of Communication for the mandate 2018-2020. She's a member for the trade unions’ constituency. A teacher by profession, Isabel is a member of the education section of the Spanish General Workers Union (UGT) and head of the UGT office in Brussels. Her areas of interest are: employment, adaptation to climate change, new skills for new jobs, ‘fair transition’ and renewable energies.
