Who is Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile?

The implementation of the Global Agenda for Sustainable Development and the achievement of the 17 SDGs demand an exceptional commitment by everyone. The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) was established on February 3rd 2016, on the initiative of the Unipolis Foundation and of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, to raise awareness among the Italian society, economic stakeholders and institutions about the importance of the 2030 Agenda for the future of Italy, and to spread a culture of sustainability in the country.
The Alliance currently brings together over 220 member organizations*, among the most important institutions and networks of civil society, who have assigned 300 experts to contribute to the activities of ASviS in the working groups on specific SDGs and those on cross-cutting issues.
