Itäiset naapurimaat
Itäisiin naapurimaihin liittyvien ETSK:n toimien piiriin kuuluvat Armenia, Azerbaidžan, Valko-Venäjä, Georgia, Moldova ja Ukraina. ETSK:n päätavoitteena Euroopan itäisiin naapurimaihin nähden on parantaa suhteita alueen kansalaisyhteiskunnan organisaatioihin ja ottaa ne mukaan niin kulloistenkin valtiollisten poliittisten päätöksentekijöiden kuin EU:n järjestäytyneen kansalaisyhteiskunnan kanssa käytävään vuoropuheluun.
Keskeisiä yhteistyömekanismeja Georgian, Moldovan ja Ukrainan kanssa ovat kansalaisyhteiskuntafoorumit. Ne täydentävät EU:n näiden maiden kanssa tekemien assosiaatiosopimuksen puitteisiin kuuluvia poliittisia elimiä. Foorumien ansiosta EU:n ja kumppanimaiden kansalaisyhteiskunnan organisaatiot voivat seurata täytäntöönpanoprosessia ja laatia suosituksia toimivaltaisille viranomaisille.
EU:n puolelta kansalaisyhteiskuntafoorumeihin kuuluu sekä ETSK:n jäseniä että laajojen eurooppalaisten kansalaisyhteiskuntaverkostojen edustajia. Kumppanimaita edustaa laaja kirjo kansalaisyhteiskunnan organisaatioita. Kansalaisyhteiskuntafoorumien jäsenyys perustuu kaikkien eturyhmien (työnantajajärjestöjen, ammattiliittojen ja muiden eturyhmien) tasapuoliseen edustukseen.
ETSK:ssa perustettiin vuonna 2004 itäisten naapurivaltioiden seurantakomitea, ja se vastaa suhteista itäisten naapurivaltioiden kansalaisyhteiskuntaan. Seurantakomitea kokoontuu yleensä neljästi vuodessa, ja sen jäsenet ovat aktiivisesti mukana itäiseen kumppanuuteen liittyvissä toimissa, kuten itäisen kumppanuuden monenvälisissä foorumeissa ja itäisen kumppanuuden kansalaisyhteiskuntafoorumissa.

The 8th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform took place on 3 December 2019 in Brussels. During the meeting, a debate was held assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. And two reports, prepared by both sides, one on the Integration of Ukraine into the European Union's Digital Single Market and the second one on Transport component of the Association Agreement, were discussed.

The Civil Society Platform complements the political bodies existing within the framework of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement, and it allows civil society organisations from both sides to monitor the implementation process and prepare their recommendations to the relevant authorities both in Georgia as well as in the European Union.
At the fifth meeting, the Members of the Platform assessed the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and adopted reports on 10 years of Eastern Partnership from the Georgian perspective, labour safety at workplace and on rights of migrants in Georgia.
