Pakolliset EU-politiikkaa käsittelevät opinnot kansalaisten tietämyksen lisäämiseksi ennen vaaliuurnille lähtemistä oli ehdotus, joka sai eniten ääniä Euroopan talous- ja sosiaalikomitean (ETSK) 21.–22. maaliskuuta järjestämässä vuoden 2019 ”Sinun Eurooppasi, sinun mielipiteesi” -nuorisotapahtumassa. Tämä aloite ja kolme muuta valittua ehdotusta, joissa painotetaan uuden teknologian ja sosiaalisen median hyödyntämistä Euroopan parlamentin vaalien äänestysvilkkauden lisäämiseksi, toimitetaan pohdittavaksi Euroopan parlamentille.
