Jeroen Jutte is responsible in the Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion DG of the European Commission for the "Employment and social aspects of the European Semester". In particular, he coordinates and supervises European Semester analyses on employment, education, skills and social policy issues, as contained in Commission Country Reports, and the development of Country Specific Recommendations in those fields. Mr Jutte dealt in various earlier positions within the Commission with inter alia the European Parliament discharge of the Commission expenditure in the employment and social domain relations with the European Court of Auditors, European Social Fund Coordination, accession negotiations/pre-accession assistance and business statistics.

Grégory’s research interests include international macroeconomics and finance, central banking and European governance. From 2006 to 2009 Grégory worked as a macroeconomist in the Economic Research Department of the French bank Crédit Agricole. Prior to joining Bruegel he also conducted research in several capacities, including as a visiting researcher in the Financial Research Department of the Central Bank of Chile in Santiago, and in the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Chicago. Grégory is also an Associate Professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris where he is teaching macroeconomics in the Master of Finance. He previously taught undergraduate macroeconomics at Sciences Po in Paris.

Patrizia has been working as an advocate for global justice at the intersection of human rights, environment and development for more than 10 years working mainly in and with non-profit organisations in Europe and Asia. Sian Jones is currently Policy Coordinator at the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN). She is responsible for coordinating EAPN’s anti-poverty policy and advocacy work at EU and national level, involving 31 national networks and 13 European Organizations.. She has particular expertise in engaging with members to achieve progress on social rights and poverty reduction through EU processes including the European Semester and the Social Open Method of Coordination. Quality jobs, social protection and minimum income have been key EAPN priorities and she has worked with the Commission, the European Parliament, EESC and the Council on these areas including on in-work poverty and new ways of work. Prior to EAPN she was Senior Policy Officer for the Welsh European Centre in Brussels responsible for policy work on Employment, Education and Social Inclusion and worked as a research consultant for the Council of Europe on youth inclusion.
