The seventh meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform (CSP) was convened on 30 June 2021 in Tbilisi and it was held via a videoconference.
Macro-regional recovery and resilience initiatives - Joint meeting of REX and ECO Sections.
The purpose of this meeting is to explore how macro-regional strategies contribute to the recovery and resilience of their regions. The meeting will look at how management authorities of the strategies were actually involved in the preparation of the national recovery plans, which projects have been included, how civil society organisations were part of the process. The afternoon session will be dedicated to the idea of a new macro-regional strategy for the whole Mediterranean region encompassing the countries of the Southern Neighbourhood.

This meeting was an excellent opportunity for a timely update by DG Trade on the implementation of the Trade and Sustainable Development Chapter under the FTA, as well as for a constructive exchange with the Director of the ILO office in Hanoi on the labour situation in Vietnam and the state of play of the roadmap.
Additionally, Ambassador Vu Anh Quang, from the Vietnamese Mission to the EU, participated in an exchange with the EU Domestic Advisory Group (EU DAG) members to share his views on ongoing topics within the context of the EU Vietnam relations.
The members of the EU DAG, which is composed of representatives of employers' organisations, trade unions and various interest groups, also further discussed its work programme and prepared the upcoming joint meetings with its Vietnamese civil society counterparts.
7th meeting of the EU-Korea Civil Society Forum under the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement and Workshop
The EU DAG and the Korea DAG met for the first time since 2018 to hold the 7th EU-Korea Civil Society Forum (CSF).
The 7th meeting of the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform took place on 30-31 March 2021 in the format of a videoconference. During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement. The impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the socio-economic development of Moldova was also discussed as well as the aspect of digitalisation in health care in Moldova.
The EU DAG met to prepare the upcoming joint meetings with the Korean counterparts, which would take place 12-13 April. At the meeting, the Members discussed the progress in work on the implementation of the EU-Korea FTA, the trade situation in the context of the pandemic and the recommendations of the Panel of Expert within the dispute settlement procedure under the Trade and Sustainable Development chapter of the EU-Korea FTA.
The 10th meeting of the EU Domestic Advisory Group under the EU-Ukraine DCFTA took place via a videoconference on 15 March 2021.
This was the first meeting of the EU Domestic Advisory Group (DAG), composed of representatives of employers' organisations, trade unions and various interest groups. At the meeting, the EU DAG received information from the European External Action Service (EEAS) on the EU relations with Vietnam and exchange with representatives of the European Commission's DG TRADE and the European Parliament on the implementation of the Trade and Sustainable Development chapter of the FTA. The EU DAG had also a first discussion on its work programme.
