For the current mandate (October 2020 to April 2023) of the Diversity Europe Group (Group III), it has been decided to concentrate on the topic of poverty and on the role of civil society organisations and citizens' initiatives in combating it. The objective of the work programme of Group III for this period is to contribute to making local communities more sustainable, resilient, equitable, productive and socially just, whilst also upholding the highest levels of democratic governance, respect for rights and the rule of law.

The EU's social dialogue has delivered tangible improvements to the working conditions of millions of workers in the EU. However, the pandemic has lent additional urgency to the need to address the new challenges that have arisen for health and safety at work. The crisis has also created tremendous challenges for social dialogue, which must be given fresh impetus in order to guarantee more appropriate working conditions in the context of the digital environment, teleworking and a rapid green transition.
This book, in partnership with CFDT Cadres, is presented as a legal guide for better mastering AI in our immediate environment. If we are faced with facial recognition during recruitment, the use of our personal data without our knowledge, if we are monitored by software during teleworking, that we depend on the arbitrary decision of an algorithm during a promotion, or even in our training course in the company, this book can help us to ask the right questions and to act.
