I work as a pharmacist in Germany and, each time we have a new customer visiting, we give them information regarding COVID-19 and we explain why it's important to wear a mask and take the necessary measures for their own safety.

As the chairperson of the Parents' Association of Baden-WĂĽrttemberg, together with my colleagues, we launched an Intergenerational Education Plan. Through this project, we contacted schools and nurseries throughout Germany to arrange meet-ups with grandparents, parents, teachers and educators, together with children and pupils, to talk about the pandemic after the re-opening of schools and nurseries. The campaign aims to educate children on the way COVID-19 could affect their grandparents, shaping their understanding of the concept of age. In addition to the informative aspect of this campaign, the goal is to strengthen the concept of health literacy, in an attempt to raise awareness regarding responsibility for one's own body.
