The European Economic and Social Committee is organising a major conference on Rare diseases and European reference networks under the auspices of the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council and in cooperation with the authorities of the Basque Country. It will take place on 10-11 October 2023 in the Euskalduna Conference Centre in Bilbao, Spain.
In the context of the European Year of Skills, the EESC's Permanent Group on disability Rights is organising a hybrid public hearing on "Skills for employment for persons with disabilities in the context of the green and digital transition" on 10 July 2023 am ( 9:30 am to 12:30 pm).

The EU has adopted a large number of legislative proposals to improve the functioning of the EU financial markets, and especially to complete the Capital Markets Union and the Banking Union.
