The European Migration Forum – the dialogue platform on migration, asylum and migrant integration - will meet for the sixth time in June 2020.
Participation in the Forum meeting is by invitation only. Organisations interested to participate are invited to respond to our call for the expression of interest (see "Applications" to the left) by 10 March 2020 at the latest.

The European Economic and Social Committee is organising the Second edition of the AI Europe stakeholder Summit entitled: White paper on artificial intelligence - What civil society has to say? The Summit will focus particularly on two topics: 1) Use of AI in the workplace and 2) AI-driven biometric recognition systems (including facial recognition).
Once again, the EESC Civil Society Days will take place at a crucial moment for Europe, shortly before the kick off for the Conference on the Future of Europe scheduled for 9 May 2020. At a time when citizens are demanding broader involvement in shaping European policies, this pan-European conference is intended to be a bottom-up public forum to connect European citizens, civil society organisations and European institutions for a debate about the future shape of the European Union.
On 10 April 2020, the European Economic and Social Committee, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization are organising a joint high-level conference on opportunities for SMEs in the digital single market, which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is organising a public hearing on "Challenges and prospects for the deinstitutionalisation process in Croatia " on 31 March 2020, in the context of a fact finding mission of the EESC's Study Group on Disability Rights.
During the hearing, we will listen to representatives from public authorities and civil society to find out how the deinstitutionalisation process is advancing in Croatia.
