3rd DAG-to-DAG meeting under the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement

The 3rd Joint Meeting of the Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs) under the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement featured updates on the activities of the Singapore and EU DAGs since the December 2021 meeting, as well as a topical discussion on EU-Singapore trade prospects in the current geopolitical landscape.

We had thematic discussions on digital economy and sustainability, migrant workers and seafarers, palm oil and deforestation, and the European Green Deal incentives.

Additionally, we received a presentation by rapporteur Thomas Wagnsonner on the key points of the EESC opinion on a proposal for a regulation on prohibiting products made with forced labor on the Union market.

Last part of the event was dedicated to the workshop on Digital economy and its connections to Sustainability
