It is a sad day for Berlin, Germany and the rest of the world. Berlin, recently in the spotlight for the 27th anniversary of the fall of the wall, hit the headlines again last night with a tragedy, which will divide society at least as much as the wall dis during its reign of terror and fear.
My thoughts and my deep sympathy go with the victims of this terrible attack, with the injured and their families, with all the people concerned through family and friends. Today, we mourn the dead and hope that the many injured can be helped. Today, we stay united and stand together, continuing to build our project of hope.
