The seventh meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform (CSP) was convened on 30 June 2021 in Tbilisi and it was held via a videoconference.

Východoevropští sousedé
Činnosti EHSV týkající se východních sousedů zahrnují Arménii, Ázerbájdžán, Bělorusko, Gruzii, Moldavsko a Ukrajinu. Hlavním cílem EHSV ve vztahu k východním sousedům je upevňovat vztahy s organizacemi občanské společnosti v regionu a zapojit je do dialogu s jejich vnitrostátními tvůrci politik i s organizovanou občanskou společností EU.
Hlavním mechanismem spolupráce s Gruzií, Moldavskem a Ukrajinou jsou platformy občanské společnosti, jež doplňují politické orgány, které existují v rámci dohod EU o přidružení s těmito zeměmi. Platforma umožňuje organizacím občanské společnosti jak z EU, tak z partnerské země sledovat proces provádění a vypracovat svá doporučení pro příslušné orgány.
EU je v těchto platformách zastoupena členy EHSV a zástupci velkých evropských sítí občanské společnosti. Partnerskou zemi zastupuje široké spektrum organizací občanské společnosti. Členská základna platforem vychází z vyváženého zastoupení všech zájmových skupin (organizací zaměstnavatelů, odborů a různých zájmových skupin).
V EHSV byl v roce 2004 vytvořen monitorovací výbor Východoevropští sousedé jako zvláštní orgán odpovědný za vztahy s občanskou společností v zemích východního sousedství. Monitorovací výbor se obvykle schází čtyřikrát ročně a jeho členové se aktivně podílejí na činnostech Východního partnerství, jako jsou vícestranné platformy a Fóra občanské společnosti Východního partnerství.

The 7th meeting of the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform took place on 30-31 March 2021 in the format of a videoconference. During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement. The impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the socio-economic development of Moldova was also discussed as well as the aspect of digitalisation in health care in Moldova.

The Civil Society Platform complements the political bodies existing within the framework of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement, and it allows civil society organisations from both sides to monitor the implementation process and prepare their recommendations to the relevant authorities both in Georgia as well as in the European Union.
The 6th meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform took place place on 26 February 2020 Brussels. During the meeting, a debate was held assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement. Constitutional reform in Georgia and occupational safety and health at workplace were also discussed.

The 6th meeting of the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform took place on 13 February 2020 in Chisinau in Moldova. During the meeting, a debate was held assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement. Social aspects of the implementation of the Association Agreement and Moldovan initiatives in justice sector and fighting corruption were discussed. Platform members also took stock of the Association Agenda EU-Moldova 2017-2019.
