EESC President, Staffan Nilsson, met the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite on 18 November.
President Nilsson emphasized the need for Lithuania and other Member States to take true ownership of the reform process implied by Europe 2020 strategy.
"For this, involvement of social partners and civil society is key" EESC president suggested.
"We are slowly coming out of the crisis, and we need to focus on the lessons to be learnt" says Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.
