Fisheries policy reform, consumer package and financial market regulation at EESC's March plenary session

At the next plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee, to be held on 28 and 29 March, the Committee will hold two important debates. During the discussion with Maria Damanaki, Commissioner for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Committee will present its opinion on the Common Fisheries Policy reform package. Martin Schulz, newly-elected President of the European Parliament, for his part, will present the priorities of his term and discuss with the assembly members about crisis, growth and employment.
