EESC opens debate on cohesion policy 2014-2020

At the 480th plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on 25 April, civil society representatives had the opportunity to examine the Commission's proposal on cohesion policy for 2014-2020. This policy area represents no less than one third of the EU's budget, or EUR 350 billion over seven years.
