Olivier Gilson was born in Brussels in 1968. He trained as a graphic designer and then moved into three-dimensional design. Olivier has 15 years' experience as an artistic director and designer, working in object design, product design, scenography, and set up his own design studio called L'agence (The Agency). He was the head of the Brussels design centre Designed in Brussels for almost 5 years, and is now on the board of directors. Olivier set up and organises Dynamo, the Belgian Young Design Awards.
His expertise is regularly sought after by the public and private sectors, where he has been employed as a consultant, exhibition designer, and has organised national and international design competitions.
